BLUEBONNET PIN / PENDANT These flowers are cast sterling silver and are designed to be versatile. Each of these pieces has a soldered bail through which a chain can be passed so the piece can be worn as a pendant and each piece has a secure locking clasp for the pin. These wildflowers are native to central Texas (as well as
many other parts of the country). Some bloom abundantly in
the very early spring and others such as the sunflower,
bloom throughout the summer. In mid-spring, central Texas is
covered with a profusion of flowers in a wide variety of
hues. At the time of this writing (early May), there are
huge quantities of yellow, orange, lavender, blue, white,
red and pink blooms all over the fields and hillsides. |

CONEFLOWER PIN and/or PENDANT - Echinachae This plant is most useful as a medicinal herb and very
beautiful as a decorative form of nature. A powdered form of
this herb is available in capsules from natural food stores.
The artist has found it to be most effective in arresting
the onset of a cold or other viral/bacterial illnesses and
highly recommends it. |
